We have a remote start kit manufactured by sunent.com that we will be installing on our EU3000 in the next few days. Check back for a complete review & installation photos.

Attached are the photos of our install. To view photos you must be a registered member (FREE) and logged in.
This install took just over an hour and required a solder gun, 1/8" drill, 10mm socket & a looooong phillips head screwdriver.
Operation is simple with 3 buttons on the remote key fob.
Button 1 - Normal Start Button
Hold down until started. Applies choke briefly.
Button 2 - Cold Start
Applies choke while cranking. Applies choke for a longer duration.
Button 3 - Stop
No explination needed - I hope

The kit is well designed and thought out and everything looks to be of good quality.
For those of you worried about voiding your warranty - forget about it. This kit does not void the honda warranty in any way. When I picked up the SunGenie Sun's honda rep was there and I confirmed this with him.
Sun also sells the Honda EU3000 with this kit pre-installed.
Visit www.sunent.com for more information or call (303)287-7566 - ask to speak with Rick DeCoteau. Rick designed this kit and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

I'll have to ask Rick but I think Sun is Colorado's largest honda dealer. They didn't get that large without providing outstanding customer service so Itend to believe them when they say it won't void the warranty. The honda rep for Colorado was also on-site and confirmed this so I think your dealer just isn't up to speed on Honda's warranty policy.

The kit was well worth it. I could not believe the simplicity of the installation.
