Pinbox hitting bedrails

Hello all, I have a 2015 39DBRS3 with a Mor-Ryde pinbox. When I make a sharp turn the pinbox hits the tonneau cover rail attached to the inside of the bedrail. I have been lucky so far to stop when I hear it hit to not damage the bedrail. I have the truck hitch raised to its highest position but to get the rear part of the hitch to clear the bedrail it would have to be higher than the bedrail.
I have talked to MorRyde, Lippert and DRV and none of them have a solution. Is anyone else having this problem? Or a fix? In this picture you can see the metal sticking down at the rear that is almost level with the plate that rests on the 5th wheel hitch.
