Brand new here and new to a 5er. Due to the cost of living when I was stationed in Port Hueneme, I lived in my mom and stepdad's Forrest River toy hauler for a while. Have now transferred and inherited my grandparents' 5th wheel. It's a 34' 2001 Alfa Ideal triple slide in decent shape, livable, but needs some work. You all will be witnessing my journey as I learn fiberglass, gel coat, and sealing. It has only moved 3 times, first when it as delivered to them in Boulder City, NV brand new in 2001, second when they passed and Dad brought it to his place in CA in 2018, and then a couple months ago when I moved it to where it's currently parked. Even being 20 years old, still a very nice rig that just needs some love and modern upgrades.
