I have two questions. I live in Ohio and wont be able to get my pole barn completed until spring to store my 5th wheel. First question; do i put a cover over it to protect the top or leave it uncovered. Second question; do I leave the slides in or out.
Covers, when installed, tend to have a few loose areas that flap in the breeze and wear marks on the RV or wear the paint in those areas. Also no snow removal because it would damage the cover. I'm just repeating what I read in other forums. I don't really care in that we're in Florida for the winter, mainly at the beach (Yup, I'm rubbing it in!)

We live in Texas and cover our fithwheel when we winterize it. I believe it protects everything. Never had any chaffing issues. We have RVed since 1968.
Storing outside cover the AC unit for sure...snow and ice build up and freeze thaw can damage it big time. Cover the tires as well to protect from UV damage.
