We have MS 38STB side bath and have a full size home gas dryer installed in BR slide. Still use today ,no problems. Full size washer as well. Dryer is frigidaire and washer is whirlpool. Use flex line from tanks, up through slide to dryer.

Assume you are permanent at site and have larger propane tank?
Sounds nice to have gas drying...

We travelled for 12 years and60.000 miles around US and Caanada with the propane setup. We had twin 40's on the
DRV which we still have, but tied down now.

You sure they are full size not apartment size? Are they about 24" in width?

We just completed a 5000 mile, 9 state trip from 3 July to 1 AUG. My wife did laundry 4 times and our set up worked flawlessly. The dryer is 120, not 240, so it will work with our external generator, and even though it is slower than our home LP dryer, it still got each drying job done in about 45 minutes, including towels. With ~45 years of RVing, this is the first W/D setup that we've had, and WOW!, it was great.

Not a fair comparison. At the Laundromat we can use multiple machines at the same time.
We will always have the washer and dryer - because we can.
For us it works just fine and is convenient.
