dometic fridge switchover

When I unplug the electric power my fridge will not auto over to gas.
However with the power to the coach on I can manually switch it over but as soon as I unplug it drops off line.

Anyone had this problem before? I'm thinking a board.

Thanks

Have you checked the 12v power off your bateries? No 12v means no power to the refridg circuit board.

Mine did the exact same thing. Until someone told me to check my 12 volt disconnect pull knob that is located by the level up switches. It is suppose to be pulled out and it is very easy to bump it in and not notice it. Once I pulled it out, the 12 volts returned to the rig and the fridge would switch over fine after that.

It does sound like the battery isolator plug is pushed in. Either that or the battery is dead.

I had already checked the pulll switch but when you brought it up that triggered my OLD thought process.

It was the little switch on the wall in the battery box.
I had forgotten all about that one.

Thanks guys. It's hell to get old and can remember sh_t! lol
