Williston Crossings Fl

We notice at least 8-9 Suites here at Williston Crossings in Fl. We arrived yesterday on site 223, weighing the Heartland Owners rally here. Anyone around please stop by!

Bill; how's that park looking now. It was the veritable poster child for bad mangement for a few years with the owners having a railroad obsession and puring money into buying and tinkering with anything rail oriented while leaving the park to fend for itself.

They had a beautiful lay out with some nice large and private sites but could'nt or would'nt even finish the swimming pool. I had heard they lost it to Chapter 11.

Hope your group weighing goes well as it should.

Have a safe run north and we'll think of you as we cruise at 30,000ft. overhead April 12th. for a couple of hours. Haaar!!!

I think Bill is busy and not answering but I can reply to your question. The park was bought two years ago and the new owners have changed almost everything that was wrong with the part from the previous owner. There is a new rec center, a new pool, a new club house, a new laundromat, new shuffle boards, dog run, pickle ball courts and more. They have changed the park lay out so that it is almost three times the size it was previously. All new roads and sites with soft street lights through out. You can purchase what are called condo sites where you can put your RV on when you come or a park model (what is what we've done). They have park models you can rent. The only bad side is the town is only 3,000 so small but has two nice grocery stores and 3 nice restaurants. Gainesville is only 15 miles away.

So if you were there before you will enjoy the NEW Williston Crossings RV Resort.

Bruce,
I think someone with some real backing bought the place and did a complete remodel! Its a real showplace with major expansion. There must be 200 plus site under construction and over 100 or so new ones that are in use and very nice. Looks like no expense was spared in the buildings, pool etc. Grounds are coming along and the infrastructure is massive.

They are trying to sell lots for $59K from what I was told. Also park models being added. Lot sizes in the new sections are huge.

Enjoy the flt home and the snow when you get there!! ha

Bill/Joan,
Sounds like you are in a nice place. Only been in a TL 10/10*/10 park once before. That was Sauble Beach.

We are not far away on the right coast near Melbourne. Tempted to take advantage of the $99 one week special for first timers l but we don't have that much time left.

We are working our way up to Myrtle Beach to see mutual friend's new beach home. Then back to I-75 and headed for home. Maybe we will get close again on the way.

Safe travels and mucho weighing.

We have been wondering where you have been Don! Yes, nice place here. very quiet. No road noise at all. Sites are huge and grass as well.

We are heading north on Thur. Towards Crossville TN for an HDT rally April 5 on. Weighing there as well.

Heading north from there maybe through Indiana RV kingdom for a few days.

Maybe we can meet up. Say Hey to our friends in SC. Wish we werre over that way!
