Bedroom Door Fix

After 20 years of travel trailer ownership we bought a 2017 38RSSA Mobile Suite. Disappointed to see that DRV is using the same type of press-in door latch assemblies that were on all of prior travel trailers. My experience is that the press-in door latches get loose and wobbly after bouncing down the road a while. Many times we arrived at our destination and found that our interior door had come open in transit and was just swinging back and forth as we rolled down the road.

I installed a magnetic door stop / hold-back (from Lowes / Home Depot) on our DRV bedroom door to keep the door in the open position while in transit. To test that our door is staying put while we drive, I've scotch taped a string from the wall to the door. After driving all day, the string was still in place.

Thought I would pass this little tip along. I will also post this on the Thor DRV Forum. Picture attached.
