New 5th wheeler

Hello everyone, I have a question that I cannot find on the website at all. When you are not using your 5th wheel, and you want to take off the hitch, is there a cover for the rails so you can protect them i.e dirt? What have you done to protect your rails from debris getting between the rails and the bed of your truck?

Yep, non issue. If you think you have dirt that might interfere, a quick run thru a car wash will fix that.

Yep, non-issue. One blast with a hose in the car wash and away you go.

We never found a cover but I can guarantee if you carry landscape rocks, gravel etc, they can get caught under the rails and can be a problem. It's not a major issue but it takes a little work sometimes to get them out of the slots.

Yup just remove the hitch-- If you haul any debris just lay a tarp down and pile it on...helps alot with yard waste
