Color on 2016 JX450

We flew from Tampa to Kansas to look at and purchase a 2016 JX450. We won't take possession of it until this summer. The color scheme on our unit is Monticello Mountaintop but the pictures we took didn't digitize well. Is the darkest color a blue or is it black?

Bonus points for the exact names of all the colors in that scheme, BTW.

Thanks!

Thanks!

We found the brochure yesterday. LOL... that's how we know it was Monticello Mountaintop. Since it's Monday, I've given a call to DRV directly.

Thanks again for helping.

Safe Travels!

You will need to talk to Greg Weldon. If you call, you will have to leave a voice mail, he should return the call. I have found him to be very responsive and helpful.
You can also email him at gregweldon@drvsuites.com

Thanks!

I left a voicemail for the parts department yesterday. Between that and this email I should be set.

Thanks again!

On our '15 RSSA Cayman partial paint, the 'black' color is Sikkens Autobase Plus SA 289 Express Black. Doesn't mean that is on your '16. The black on ours doesn't seem to be pure black, but might have a tinge of blue in it. Clean, dirty, sunny, cloudy--it always seems not to be a regular black.
Hope the factory gets back to you.

Thanks!

I agree about the shades of black looking almost blue! That's why I needed some confirmation.

Haven't heard back from the factory, yet. I'll be sure to follow up once the mystery is solved.

Thanks again.

Safe Travels!

Eureka!

For those curious about my color question... anyone? Anyone? LOL.

The sheet with the color codes is attached. It looks like the cap color is definitely some version of black. With the other shades in there, it's no wonder why in the light or out the cap color looks a little different.

Have a great day!

Sincerely,
Kathy & Mike

Mike, having the faith in the factory that I do, I have no doubt that the factory rep called you today.

So which of those colors is the 'black' on the 450?

HA! I didn't look closely enough! They don't list the formula for the black cap color. I assumed "Summer Dust" was the cap color but looking at the tabs at the bottom, the formula for the black (J1/M7261) is not there. So... darn it!
