Moving to Maryland

Well, was just told I am needed in Maryland for the job. I will be at NAS PAX for several months, possibly a year or more. We are going to arrive ove Memorial Day weekend. Not the best time to arrive, but we do what we gotta do.

Does anyone have any recommendations on places to stay?

We've stayed at a couple of CG's in MD, north of DC and Baltimore. I always check out RV Park Reviews. They are usually fairly accurate with their assessments.

Take it Easy CG in Callaway looks like it's within 10 miles. If it were us, we would start there and move if needed.

Do you have base privileges? If so see if there is a military campground there at the NAS. I know some Navy installations have them like Whidbey Island.

Thanks for the information. I am retired AF so we checked out the Solomons, but there were no openings for a fifth wheel 40 feet long. The longest site available was 33 feet. Unfortunately they did not know when they would have a big enough space available. We did get into Take-It-Easy and will try them out.
