IN or OUT??????

As this is the first 5'er that I have owned I have a simple question..Is it better to have the slides opened or closed when not in use??..Thanks..Bob

When we got our MS I ask the same question and was told to never stor with the slides out.

If you leave the slides out you expose the seals to the sun and they can degrade. Also dirt and debri can build up causing additional problems for the slides when you retract them.

We store ours in our yard with the slide in and only slide it out when working inside the rig, or using it in our yard.
