My response,
You have something WRONG if you are unloading your front axle by 120#.
Load range "E" means nothing, what does the tire say capacity is at 80psi?
You have a pin weight of 3,340# per your numbers.

ANY 250 pulling ANY DRV unit is WAY over weight as are most 350 srw. Proof of that is on the net by the people who run the scales at some DRV events. They have history going back to the beginning. Sorry but I can not remember their names, but pretty sure it's on this forum somewhere. I'll look later and repost.

I had this from a few years ago. It was most likely taken from the Suites Owners site. It shows that most people pulling a MS is over weight.
32% tow with a SRW truck.
100% of towing with a SRW are over weight.

GVWR can be completely useless. RAWR is much more important.
Example, my 15 RAM DRW has 14k GVWR and 9,750# RAWR. Think about this. I run at full "SAE Rated" RAWR. Now let's say I don't add a single pound to my factory front axle weight of 5,250#. HMMMMMMM, this puts me at 15,000#. How can this be???
I can tell you the 14k GVWR number is simply to keep the truck in "CLASS 3" for licensing and insurance purposes because 14,001# puts you in Commercial territory.
I have enough tonnage to cover what ever my 6 tires are carrying and run full RAWR with lot's of rear tire capacity and well under my GCVWR.
So the chart above is a bit deceiving on being over GVWR as I guarantee none of the DRW's were over their RAWR.

Yes a light duty truck can pull and heavy load. Yes a light duty truck can stop a heavy a heavy load if everything works. But happens in a corner, you need more rubber on the ground and the tail shouldn't control your actions

You NEED a DRW truck plain and simple. That RV is a lot of tail for the dog.
Start another topic so we can debate what truck you should get.

Mona, sorry, but dually is the only answer. We can debate this 'til hell freezes over but SRW is simply not the 'hoss' that's necessary.

Now according to your Cat scale reading you have 2 tons of pin weight. That's what I have on four rear tires not just two like you. So do you think that is safe?

Get into a "OH SH!T" situation and the SRW will not handle that load.
