That's INSANE!! I hope someone from DRV is monitoring these forums, especially this one! How can they NOT repair that? There is clearly structural damage going on there! There's more than just screws letting go going on, IMHO!

Dan, hopefully you have been told that no one from DRV or any of the major manufacturers monitor these forums. If they did it would end up simply being a 'back and forth' between you and the manufacturer on here. We don't want to read that. Do that with an email to them from you.

Jim, I'm not suggesting that DRV address these back cap problems on ANY forum, that would be totally inappropriate! What I AM suggesting is hopefully they MONITOR (NOT RESPOND) the forum to keep abreast of problems especially major defects like the issue of this thread!

Hopefully Porthole gets this problem solved as do others with this issue! It took DRV a while to realize they were using substandard cylinders for their front landing gear and re-designed those. A lot of people had their front legs corrected by Lippert at no additional cost to them. We were in that group and thanfkful for Lippert stepping up to the plate and making that situation right! At some point DRV introduced a much more robust set of landing gear and THAT issue went away.

Dan, I’ll say it again. They DON’T monitor the forum. We don’t want members thinking they do.
