MythBuster Show proves tailgate theory

I don't see a section for general towing discussions admin, is there such a place on the forum ? Would you kindly move this to it's proper place ? thanks....

Does anyone watch the "MythBuster" shows ?

They proved that a pickup truck with the standard tailgate on it and in the closed position got better mileage than a truck with the gate down or off. ???

And they showed why ..... thats the important part.

Destroys the theory of a 5th wheel's vented tailgate or no tailgate giving better miles per gallon...

Don't you love it when Science proves or disproves a theory ??

The MythBuster shows are fantastic... learn something new every time..

MythBusters is on the Discovery Channel..

John

Hi John,
There is an edit button. It is located in the upper right corner, next to the quote button. It only shows up on whatever posts that you have made as obviously, there is no reason for you to edit someone else's post.

HI Capt.

There is no edit button on my screen, only the "Quote" button. Thats why I asked.

You may have seen my other post asking bout the overflow screen, makes me wonder if somehow it is connected to that..

I have no problems on any of the other web sites I go to. I am a member of about a dozen RV forums and none of them have the screen overflow problem, only this forum..

Therefore I know that it cannot be my computer at fault..

Oh well, I have a choice don't I ?

Thanks for trying to help,
John

John,
I owe you an apology. For some reason, maybe because of the title, this particular part of this forum can not be edited. Go into any other section, Mobile Suites for example, and you can edit any of your posts.

Maybe the administrator can enlighten us on why you cannot edit a post in this category.

Camping Captain,
At the bottom of the page, it says that I may not edit my posts on this forum. I don't remember this being the case in the past. Has the website changed?

jayc,
It is only on the forum titled "Site" that you are unable to edit your posts. I am not sure why. On all of the other forums on this website, you are able to edit your posts. I'm still waiting for the Administrator to explain why you cannot edit your posts in this category.
