It also depends on weather conditions (lots of wind, snow, freezing rain etc) and what temperature you set it at. It will cycle far less in cold weather if set at 60 than at 73. It also depends on the size of the RV too. Larger ones require more and more frequent heating due to loss from the seals (especially if they are the ones the factory cut holes in) windows and poorly sealed access hatches.

These things are NOT really sealed for air and temperature transfer. Try an experiment. If the weather is not too bad, take at least one fantastic fan set to blow out on high. Leave all the windows and door(s) closed. Then walk around the rig and see how much air is being drawn through the rig from multiple places due to the fan. It will be a real eye opener I assure you. Check the sliding pocket door that is open to the basement. That's a really good flow point.
