Ok, got all the fittings together and have very little output. I need clarification on one fitting. The OE fitting that actually screws to the grill input where the regulator screws in, has a brass insert that looks like a short nail, and it has a spring on top of it. When I screw on the adapter fitting, the short nail is forced backwards, allowing gas to flow, but very little. A few videos kept the nail in place, but others specifically stated to discard it. Being a novice and dealing with LP, I don’t want to screw this up. If anyone is familiar with this, nail and spring.......in or out?
