I wouldn't let the reduction to a 1 year warranty bother me if I really wanted a DT product. Our 2 year warranty expires this October and we have yet to have the trailer to a dealership or the factory for any service. Every issue has been easily resolved by me in my driveway.
Personally, I would rather have a trailer with a 1 year warranty that never needs service than a trailer with a 2 year warranty that spends most of those 2 years in the shop. It's a huge hassle taking a trailer in for service.
Buy a trailer with a good track record regardless of warranty length. There are a few in that category and Mobile Suites is one of them.
