blown tires

Well last Sunday, the 21st, I left home to go to Elkhart,IN. to have some repair work done to the coach from a blown tire on the curb side. Well guess what, half way there I blew another one on the street side ( rear) and did another $3100 damage.

I went to charger RV in Elkhart and I want to say right here you will not find another repair shop that will do or can do any better of a job. In fact if anything ever happens again that's right where I'll go again.

What nice and helpful folks. Gerald and his wife as well as Billy the parts manager were extremely nice. The guys out in the shop were very capable as well as knowledgeable..

I highly recommend them!!!!

Well while I was in the Elkhart area I decided to switch the axles to 8000lbs, disc brakes (Kodiak) and replace the tires and wheels with 17.5's.

Hope these run better than the 16"s did. Time will tell.
