Well it finally happened to me

Today I was on I 74 East of Champaign, Il. about 16 miles when I thru the tread off of the right side forward tire. Good thing that my kids were behind to tell me because I didn't feel a thing.

I had left Attica, In. headed home and as I always do I checked my tires for the correct pressure ( 110) before I left. I run Pressure Pro and it stilled showed everything OK, as it should have, because I didn't have a blow out, thank goodness.

Called Good Sams and everything went like clock work.

Now a question for everyone that has had this problem:

If I had driven on and not been aware of the problem that had occurred what would have happened to the tire warranty? In other words once the tire failed and a blow out occurred whats to say that the tire was running low on pressure, that built up HEAT, and then caused the problem???

Am I asking this correctly? or for that matter making any sense. LOL

At this time it looks like the departing tread beat an indentation in the metal sheet above, knocked the fender skirt loose on the forward edge and knocked the seal loose or tore it from it's mounting.

As a side note we had rubber pieces inside the trailer in front of the door.
