Lippert doesn't rebuild the cylinders---guess that is their story and they are sticking to it, but looks like it could be a rebuild, don't know. The ones we received have been repainted for some reason.
We have an advantage of having the room to be able to lift the unit securely and room to get the work done without digging a hole.
