R.Gordon, you are correct. We had the 2009 Mobile Suites and the IBC wouldn't work, I installed the Prodigy and the brakes worked great. When we ordered the 2010 MS I had the option for the CAM-HBA add to make the actuator work. Now with the 2011 Chevy with the IBC the system works. When we had the Freightliner I also had to use the Prodigy. Highly recomend you have the CAM-HBA added, Drv may now be installing it on all their Suties now. The Prodigy worked with the CAM-HBA and of course it worked without the options . We are over 4,000 miles this summer and I set the IBC when I bought the new Truck and haven't reset it since.. I installed the CAM module on my 2010 Select. It was very easy, there are only 4 wires & they are color coded. You can order the CAM module directly from Carlisle. It's about $85. I have a 2011 Chevy 3500HD & the brakes work great with the IBC on the truck. |
