Yes I agree, but axle rating should show 8,000 lbs not 7,500 lbs.
Depending upon what tires and wheels you could also be over that 8,000 lbs rating.
I can tell you by the tires on my F-350 they hold more weight than the rear axle is rated for. Oh & my tires are rated for 3960 lbs so not that far off.
