I personally contacted Shurflo concerning mine leaking. They are the ones that told me there was a check valve somewhere between pump output and the waterheater. I have looked an can not find any such valve.

Shurflo acted like it was someone elses problem.......an not their pump. Mine is an 06 and would still be in warranty if I can pin the problem on shurflo's equipment.
