As you know, coverage and cost is based on state of registration and to some degree, where the unit will be parked most of the time. Also, any agent can only quote coverage for the state(s) they and/or their agency are licensed and the only for a company they represent that is admitted or licensed in that state, in your case Texas.

Be sure you compare apples to apples as not all policies coverages are the same. It is best if you have the declaration page of your policy in front of you when talking to an agent so you can give them the specifics of your present policy. Usually the basic coverages are close but the add-ons is where the coverage/price can vary greatly. Also, high deductibles may, but not always, be cost effective.[/code]
