DRV Suites recalls 1,701 for aluminum wheels

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- DRV Suites (DRV), formerly Doubletree RV, is recalling 1,701 model year 2008 and 2010-2011 Select, Mobile and Elite Suite RVs manufactured from June 12, 2007, through Oct. 27, 2010 and equipped with disc brakes. Due to the paint applied to the aluminum wheel and hub face, the wheel may become loose.

Message from Tom Peck dated today, 2/14/2011

"mailing of the notification letters, repair procedures etc. has not gone out and won’t for several weeks. NHTSA only approved everything Friday 2/10/12 and nothing can be completed until that approval.

You will receive info in the mail in the near future.

In the meantime check your wheel lug nut torque as advised in your owner manual and the label on your pin box and you will be fine."
