I run 125 in my 17.5's. FWIW I use pressure pro's on my tires and at first I ran them at 110 because the tire charts say that is enough and my compresser would only go that high. After the tires got warm the pressure went to about 140. I bought a new compresser so that I could run them at 125 because that is what GY recommended for all trailer tires (they told me to run at max stated on sidewall). Now when the tire get warm they go to about 140. In one case that is an increase of 30 psi and in the other the increase is only 15 psi. The reason for that is the tires are running cooler at the higher starting pressure. Since heat is what kills tires I believe I'll continue to start mine at 125 psi. In neither case do the tires feel more than warm to the touch.
