Hi old, I guess that I did not read carefully. I prefer a gas dryer, but everything that I read cautioned against it. I initially got a 220, but then learned that two 110 volt wires don’t necessarily produce 220 volts. I went with a 110 volt washer and dryer, a little smaller than full size, and they work great.
