Yes I have a short bed (6 1/2' long). And yes I have a slider. I do not expect any bed clearance issues unless I get into a really tight or uneven ground. I was more worried about it putting too much weight on the back axle & not enough on the pin. It actually pulls down the road very well so it may just be an OCD thing of mine.
It is not really all that nose high & as one other member on here said just deal with it & enjoy.
