I-10 in Louisiana is pretty good now. It is no longer the kidney beating roller coaster it used to be 5 years ago. I have found worse interstates farther north in places like Arkansas and Oklahoma. We travel into the middle of Louisiana at least once every year to see the grand kids. The secondary roads, like 90 south of I-10 are the ones that are still pretty bouncy since they didn't smooth out the concrete edges after they were poured.
