When the first one of our pendant lights died, I had a horrible time getting the bulb out. It is a “push and turn” base, but because the bulbs burn so hot they were practically welded into the socket. I hope the current manufactured units have LED. Bulbs in the fixtures. My recommendation would be to change the bulbs to warm LED bulbs ASAP.
