The corrosion is under the powdercoated clear coat on the wheels. You will NOT be able to polish it out. The wheel would need to be removed, tire and stem removed, wheel stripped of the clear, polished to the desired shine, and then re-powdercoated with clear. A very expensive and time consuming process. I used to be involved with this type of restoration in the past and if it was redone, it would look great for years. In most cases, cheaper to purchase new wheels.
