DRV Electrical Short/Fire

Check this out guys. This happened in my 2018 36RSSB3 MS about 2 months ago when we plunged a clothes iron into one of the 110V outlets on the vanity slide wall (the left side outlet). The pictures show the carnage. They are of the junction box where the short happened. It’s location is in the on upper, right side cabinet on the vanity slide. Basically the cabinet to the right of the bedroom TV.

I’m definitely not an experienced electrician, and correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the short happened because one of the factory crip-style wirenuts wasn’t making good contact with the two wires it was supposed to be connecting. This resulted in significant resistance in that circuit. So when we asked the circuit to produce significant voltage by plugging in the iron, it started melting the wire casing. I herd this frying sound and then the outlet stopped working. I put a tester to it, it read 55 volts.

WTH! No matter the cause, one thing is for sure, my rig could have burned down with us in it due to poor workmanship from the factory. Makes me wonder what other electrical disasters are lurking inside the hidden walls.
