Assume the temps were high to need to leave both ACs on? Basically, the thermostats for the ACs are poorly placed and may not be reading what the area temp actually is.
I don't think my ACs would ever get the interior down to 65 unless the outside temps were in the low 70s. This the first time you have this happen? Have you checked the thermometer for accuracy?
