I agree with Slow Six, so that is why I put a Ford F450 under my mobile suites and have not regretted it one minute. It handles the load and more importantly it stops that load. I just can't believe people would even consider trying to use a 3/4 pickup to handle a load like a mobile suites. I think they are asking for lots of trouble. The pin weight alone will kill that truck !!!!
My 2008 Ford F-450 with 19.5 inch tires; 4.88 gears is rated for towing a 25,000+ lb load, handles 6200 lb payload, has 650 pounds of torque and 360 horse power. The 2012- 450's have 800 lbs of torque and 400 hp. This is a beast of a truck. It is always better to have more truck than you need than to wish you had more truck than you have!!!
