I would suggest you look at several of the signatures and profiles of the members. You will find the majority (approx 95% )tow with a 1 ton dually. I personally have towed a 2004 mobil suites, 2006 elite, and now a 2009 Elite all over the county with a 1 ton. I would personally never consider using anything else. I also drive tractor trailer semi's and it is mho that a semi is over doing it. (Sorry HD drivers, I know by the books 1 tons are overloaded if you pack alot into your trailer, which I do). I have never had a problem stopping my unit with a 2004 chevy 1 ton and I have had to make a more than one panic stop.
