On-The-Go Portable Water Softener. We like it. Uses a 1# container of table salt to regenerate and is fairly small in size.
As for sodium added to the water, it's a function of the hardness of the water in your campground. So the amount may vary as you move around the country. Follow the link above to read what one manufacturer states as far as the amount of sodium added per quart of water.
