I think I would get a hold of your insurance adjuster and let him know what is going on. I think he might want to do an inspection and get the insurance companies lawyers involved. It really doesn't matter whether the campground has insurance or not, whether they post a sign saying no responsible for anything, - THEY ARE. So let the insurance companies fight it out. Not your battle! Just get an adjuster involved, get your A/C fixed and the rest will take care of it's self. But call out an adjuster and explain what happened to him.
