Seeing the Henry Ford is a great experience, it is just not easy to do when you have an rv along. The closest place to park that was 'safe' or at least a certified rv park was about 30 miles away. If driving a distance isn't an issue, Algonac State Park is very nice and runs along the St. Clair River where you can watch the freighters glide up and down 24 hours a day. There are other rv parks, all within the 1 hour's drive to Henry Ford so a search on RV Parks Reviews should help.
