Reminds me of the time we checked into a CG after a real grind of a day.
That morning was a rushed departure, the roads, traffic, poor directions all played my patience thin...
Then we arrived, and starting hooking up.
After all was done, the AC power was screwy....only one side seemed to be hot, but testing with a VOM at the post said it was OK..
I looked everywhere for the problem....nothing I could find...
So, in a huff, I contact the CG manager...I tell him HE has SCREWY power over here.
HE says...ahh...OK, I'll be right over....
Well, long story short: If your Marinco twist-lock connector on the 50 amp cable (trailer end) gets turned J u s t enough ..you'll have screwy power !
Gave that yellow twist-lock a little twist and presto I have full power, and simultaneously I turn into an twit....

As Bruce said, it's always the little things you should check first!
