I don't know about the weight. The flooring is heavy but so was the nasty carpet we took out. As heavy as these trailers are a hundred pounds or so is not much impact. Now as to furniture sliding the recliners (after market) hold well when pushed against the wall. Table and chairs do tend to travel a bit. I just added some felt tips to the legs and will see how that works. Rubber, which I had on the recliners for a while works perfect but then it was difficult to move the recliners in and out from the wall. Right now I have rubber on the back and felt on the front. That is working well
