When we got off work today, Jo needed to wash some clothes and at one point I was near the hot water tank outside and heard a buzz. So, I went back in and turned on the hot water. Sure enough, there was the buzzing. Just a glance at it, but it looks like it is male on both ends. I'll double check before removing it.

I presume one has to drain the water heater before replacing even the top check valve. And, I don't know why, but it looks like the bottom line also has a check valve in it.

I was reading somewhere online that some RV's have three check valves; one at the hot water heater, one at the pump, and one at the city water inlet. I'll have to follow up and see, but I didn't see one at the pump.

Thanks again, Guys.
