Had the same model for 10 years, never had that happen. Sounds like something in the valving not right. You have checked to be sure the fluid level is correct, and no leaks in the pump area?

I think he is referring to the older style vent fans that just vent into the attic space--nothing on the roof involved. Believe the newer units have the FF type fans in the bathroom area.

I do find the step notches in the GM bumpers pretty handy, and much easier to use when just wanting to get into the bed without lowering the tailgate.

Just about any competent spring/axle shop can put a spacer tube in, but aligning is another problem....
