Stevencoles - For what it is worth the dealer told me that the Fords sit low enough that they usually don't need the riser. It is more suited to Dodge and GM.

Curious as to the height of your bed. With that measurement plus the 17" for the hitch we could compare the real hitch height of the truck and do some comparisons.
