In your opinion where is the best place to see the most RV's in one place. In particular 5ivers?

I have been going to the local RV shows in the Detroit area but I am wondering which show is the best/largest in the country?

Thanks.

Take a break and get down to the Tampa RV show. There is nothing in Michigan that would compare to the size and amount of rigs at one place. We went a few years ago and spent one day, could have easily spent 2 or more if we had been looking at other trailers, or motorhomes.

I have found the RV show out in Novi, MI to be a good show. Easy access right off I-96 and all indoors.

Hershey PA advertises it is the largest RV show in the country.
Tampa FL advertises it is the largest RV show in the country.

Hershey is in September
Tampa starts on January 16....get out of Michigan and go to Tampa, soon!

Well, like others have said..Tampa RV show is big.
It is nice to see it all in the same place.
My wife & I went the last 3 years in a row.
We call it the university of RV's... :D

It is a social event in our little world of friends as well.
You'll see it all, get a good look at at very, very competitive pricing...and maybe a suntan if you stay at least 3 days.

Remember: Largest doesn't always mean they will have the manufacturer's you want to see or even the model or floorplan that you are interested in. But it's a start.

I always look for upcoming RV Shows in the area we're in from various RV sites that list nationwide shows. Then do a search online for the RV Show website. They usually give you dealers who are attending. Then I can find out if that dealer carries the RV's we're interested in. Plus if website provides a map it helps me to plan out the booths we want to see. Makes it a fun day trip instead of a long weekend & a confusing jumble of floorplans & decor.

I like to go to RV Shows that have Factory Reps. Information is usually slanted towards their product line, but you can usually find out some good information that a salesman from the dealer wouldn't know.

We've been going to shows in multiple states over for the years. We even made it to the Big Hershey in Sept of 07. They didn't have any Elite's, only Mobile & Selects. They had a good supply of 5er's from midlevel models to higher end Teton, Heartland, Excel & even a New Horizon.

We had our first look at a Tiffen MH. While we didn't talk to Bob Tiffen, the owner, the neighbors we had in the RVP did & they traded their Montana in for one.... 8)
