Air Compressor Recommendations

Would anyone have any recommendations on a portable air compressor/tire inflator that will inflate to 110 lbs?

Also-we have Good Year G614RST LT235/85R16 tires on our 36tk3. Wondering what others are carrying their PSI at?

After looking for a compressor for a year, I found one that works great, It's the Makita MAC700 The Hotdog 12.4 Amp 2 Horsepower and 2 gallon tank. If you buy thoes little battery plug in guys, it will take two days to inflate your tires. The compressor comes up fast and inflates a 100 lb. tire in less than a minute.

I bought a Porter Cable pancake compressor at Home Depot it is a 150lb compressor. I also have the 16inch tires and wheels on my 06 36TK3 and the correct pressure if you are at gross weight of 17500 is 110 pounds.

I will be at the rally and have Gale and Stacy weight my trailer I'm pretty sure that I am going to have to invest in 17.5 rubber and wheels so thats the reason for the 150 compressor the pressure on the 17.5's is 125 at a Max gross weight of 18500 lbs

Do NOT buy a compressor rated for 110 PSI if you want to inflate your tires to 110. The last 10 PSI will take forever.

You are better off going with a unit rated for 125 or 150. We purchased a Craftsman 150 on sale for under $150.

I too picked up the Craftsman pancake 150 psi at sears. just makes the 125 psi I run in the 17.5" tires. Wt 40 lbs.

Definatly need a higher rated compressor than what you want to inflate.

It is recomended to run the pressures at MAX cold pressure as marked on your sidewalls, It's 110 psi for the 16" and 125 psi for the 17.5

I to have the Craftsman 4 Gal. 150 PSI Air Compressor.
I also ran my 16" wheels at 110 psi but now have 17.5s due to weight and blow outs. The compressor handled all tires easily.
