Does anyone have tips on how to prepare a 5th wheel for long term outdoor storage. Planning on storing my DRV 36TKSB3 till spring of next year. Have wheel covers, buying a full size cover. Living in Michigan will have it winterized. Tips will be greatly appreciated.

I am in Mich also. Our county fair grounds offers storage all winter, mid Oct to Mid April. I will be trying to use it this year. This will be my first year to winterized this unit, and will have it done at dealer, hopeful I can watch. Make sure switch over hot water by-pass and take the plug out of tank. Leave fresh water tank drain open and if possible have trailer so which ever end the tank is on, leave lower that other end. Put 1/2 gal. extra anti-freeze down drains and into toilet, mainly for the tanks.

Do not forget to get antifreeze into the toilet spray hose or ice maker line. Seems a lot of folks forget those two places. I'm stuck in Michigan till probably mid November, so should be out of here long before the freezing takes place. Might want to give the roof a last check over for anything caulking in the seams that has the slightes appearance of cracking that could open up in the really cold weather and seal it up now.

For years, I've winterized using RV antifreeze. I have a good friend who only uses an air compressor and blows all the air out of his lines.

With a washer and an ice maker in the fridge, is this still a possibility?

I have always disconnected the ice-maker line when I know I am finished use for the season. It will self-drain from the fridge to the solenoid, and the solenoid should drain with both sides disconnected. My ice-maker line is also downhill from feed point in basement, so it drains out also when disconnected. Never have used AF in lines after pulling low-point drains, but I live in N. TX, where we don't usually see any below-freezing highs during the winter.
In MI, I would drain, blow everything out, put AF in the traps and cross my fingers.
