This forum seems very quiet, any one out there have the new Columbus series? I have the 2015 front living series. I am thinking about full timing and looking to see if anyone has had any real problems. I have started with a leak in the shower and have water on the floor outside of the shower stall that is not from splashing. Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful.

Confused--you have a 2015 Columbus, but an '05 Suites in the sig?
Water leak--need to access the back of the shower to look at the drain--good chance that is where it is, otherwise you would have leak all the time if it was the connections to the faucet.

Traded the 05 in, the signature was supposed to change but obviously didn't work. Guess I'll work on that and the shower leak. The Columbus came with a lifetime guarantee. We will see how that works too. The Columbus is a lot harder to get into than the MS and has about 1/3 of the storage. I have a lot to learn about this and have to be careful with the guarantee.

I now seem to remember you changed units. Again, look around for some kind of access panel to the shower pan--there should be some way to get to the main drain. Chances are it is leaking.
And I also will be interested in how the lifetime guarantee works out.

Joe, Yes it only leaks when the shower is used. It has a house type shower stall and the wall that has the faucet hook up goes to the kitchen on the other side. The drain is a good possibility but the shower doors are also in question. If the base of them are not sealed.
I am interested in how the guarantee will work. To start we have to have an annual maintenance check up at the dealer and I know that will cost more than a nickel, but in the long run it might be cheaper. I am used to doing the maint. my self so I am not sure what I can do and what I can't.

Okie,
I would just turn the shower on and aim the nozzle toward the wall opposite the door--not letting any water hit the door area. That ought to determine if it is the door or the drain.

Joe, I caulked the inside of the shower door frame on each side and along the bottom edge and in the runners where they meet on the sides and around the outside edge of the drain. So far it seems to have worked.

Good to hear--my next suggestion would have been "if it only leaks when you shower, just quit showering".....

Then I would have to figure out how to fix the smell!!
