We recently, weekend, pulled 1200 miles. Used water pump for flushing and such on trip. Stayed at 2 different overnight parks and used our water and pump. Now that I have settled in a park, the pump can't be turned off. I replaced the toggle switch and it didn't change. Even with switch out of circuit, pump still works. Had to remove fuse at pump to disable. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

If u have the "smart sensor" pump I know that it draws current even when not on....I am guessing it has shorted out internally.

Just a SWAG

pump works fine, starts up and cuts off as needed. Just won't turn off without pulling fuse.

Did you turn off the water pump switch in the water connection compartment? They are in parallel and light will not go off inside if switch is on outside. Just a suggestion!!

The outside switch on ours is right behind the shower sprayer storage clip. It's real easy to bump it on when you are in there. If that switch is on, the inside switch is cut out of the loop so the pump stays on all the time.

I relocated my shower wand to the left wall. Seems like everytime that I put the shower wand on the clip I would bump the pump switch. Not a problem now.

I'll second what Ponch said. We've all done it and those who haven't -will.
