Get together inthe RGV

We were just wondering if anyone was interested in getting together for lunch somewhere down here in the Valley? We have seen quite a few DRV rigs in the various Parks. We are staying at Southern Comfort in Weslaco.

We would be interested if the time falls right. We are staying at Paradise South in Mercedes so we're neighbors! Guess we can see what kind of response there is...we have to leave about the first of February to help a daughter move from Virginia Beach so can't stay as long as we'd like.

We are certainly interested. The thing is there are so many of us it's difficult to find a place that can handle such a crowd. I hope you can!

We are also in Weslaco at Snow to Sun. Yes it would be nice to get together with other MS owners. If we have to many for lunch, maybe we could just meet at one of the RV parks rec hall, and share MS stories and upgrades. Just post time and location and we will try to attend.

If everyone likes chineese, we had 30 as a group in a room at Linns in Weslaco. We could have squeesed a few more people in the room.
Or if anyone would rather meet at your Park and do a Pot Luck that sounds good. I know here at Southern Comfort the Hall is pretty booked up. I know that Best Western only does breakfast now. ( I heard that is where you met in the past)
Lets get some more ideas, places, date and times suggested.

You are liable to get 80-100 people once this gets out.

I was thinking about checking on one or two Buffet places that have rooms and see what they accomodate. If more turn out then they can over flow to the regular beffet place. But i beleive most rooms accomodate approx. 40 and I was wondering how one of these two Sundays sounds in Jan. Sun. the 18th or the 25th. The reason for Sunday is so many people are busy doing park activities during the week and if we did this around 1:00 it still allows time for church etc.

Looking to visit rgv later this month.Is anyone staying at Bentsen Palm Village rv resort? Or have you spent time there ? and if so ,how did you find it?It has a high rateing in Woodalls.

Very nice but they never have any sites open.

We're at Winter Ranch thru March. There are 4 suites here and based on my conversations, some interested in a get-together.
